INTERNSHIP

For our dear students who want to do internship in the summer term;

Internship Application Dates: 26 May 2025 - 20 June 2025 
Internship Dates:  23 June  2025 - 5 September 2025

 

According to the education plan, Computer Engineering students are expected to do their compulsory internship for 20 (twenty) working days (1 week = 5 working days) in the summer term before the 7th semester.
The purpose of this internship course, which is carried out under the name of STJ401 Internship I, is to reinforce students' theoretical knowledge and experience gained during their education, to develop their skills and experiences in laboratory and workshop practices, to enable them to get to know their responsibilities, relations, organization, production process and new technologies in the workplaces where they will do their internship.
All the steps you need to follow in your internship process are given in the internship work flow chart. For more information, please review our university's internship guidelines and our department's internship procedures and principles.

Students who will do internship; have received OHS training appropriate to the workplace where they will do their internship; or one of the ISG 301 or ISG 302 courses.
For students who will do internship, you can find all kinds of documents that will help you from the internship application process to the writing of the report they will submit.

Things to be considered in the internship report format:

  • The internship report will be filled in daily format.
  • For each day, the signature and stamp of the workplace official or responsible engineer must be present.
  • It must be submitted in hardcover.
  • Colour printout is not mandatory.
